Learn how to setup your Wordpress website in a day!!
In this class participants will learn:
1. Getting Started with WordPress
- Blogging Basics
- Types of blogs and websites.
- Manual installation on a web server or Installation via cpanel in Godaddy (preferred)
Class 2: Administration
- Understanding the Dashboard
- Setting up user accounts
- Elements of a Post
- Managing Posts, Categories and tags
- Adding an About page
What will you learn?
○ Convert your site to WordPress vision. You will learn all about wordpress templates, layouts, plugins and themes.
○ Customize how your site layout and functions.
○ Install your wordpress template using smart scripts
○ Train you and your staff to learn how to manage your content and play with the back office of your wordpress site.
○ Train developers to let them know how to write the wordpress code and create wordpress templates in the template files.
Training materials will be very interactive and include videos, links to blogs, and other reading materials.
About the instructor, Swapnil Amin
Swapnil currently works for Yahoo at the director level. He is very patient and works with all different skill set level. He has been training people at ALL skill levels how to learn new web skills for 10+ years, including many Fortune 500 companies who consistently invite him back to work with new employees, and help their existing employees upgrade to a new software version.
